About
Human Machine Learning S.R.L. is a software company registered in Romania under CAEN code 6210 (custom software development). We build language learning tools powered by real native speaker audio and spaced repetition — combining deliberate practice, character-level feedback, and large open audio corpora to develop listening comprehension and dictation accuracy.
Our approach is grounded in deliberate practice rather than gamification: forced reproduction of what you hear, at scale, with immediate feedback. The product is available as a web application and as downloadable desktop software.
We also study learning itself. Experiment №1 (March 2021 – April 2022) took the founder from noise to C1 Romanian, with every attempt recorded — over 41,000 reps across 8,722 recordings. Experiment №2, the Replication, is enrolling now. As we learn about learning, we share the results with our participants first — or build better products to accelerate your knowledge acquisition.

An ongoing study of memory and learning. Participants attempt to replicate the founder's result — noise to C1 in roughly two years of daily listening reps — with progress measured honestly from their own attempt ledger. 100 places per cohort.
